A Washington, D.C., woman stole items from a store on Tuesday before hitting a cop who tried to stop her with her car, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
The suspect stole merchandise from the establishment on the 8th Street, NW block dating from 2000 at approximately 10:10 a.m. An employee signaled a uniformed reserve MPD officer in the area of what had happened.
But when the officer tried to stop the suspect, she drove into the officer with her car and then fled.

The reserve officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The suspect was last seen driving a black Nissan Versa with an unknown Texas label.

A surveillance camera captured the suspect in photos shared by police.
The police are looking for the suspect and are asking the public for help in finding her. MPD is offering a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information leading to the suspect’s arrest and conviction.
