Two Kansas men were arrested last week on suspicion of human trafficking, Wichita police said.
Wichita residents Sinora Wilson, 38, and Elijah McCray, 23, were arrested around 11 p.m. Friday night at a hotel on West Kellogg Drive, according to Sedgwick County arrest records. Both men were charged with aggravated human trafficking.
According to KWCH, McCray was also charged with warrants while Wilson was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
The victim is reportedly a minor over the age of 14. Arrest records show that the victim, who was described as a runaway, was smuggled out of the hotel.

After questioning by detectives, the minor was taken to a local children’s home. The police did not disclose specific details about the crimes in order to protect the victim.

“The case involves a minor and due to the sensitivity of the case, this is all that can be disclosed at this time,” a spokesman for the Wichita Police Department told Fox News Digital.
