Trials don’t always delve into the psychology of what makes a murderer a murderer.
Now former prosecutor and crime expert Nancy Grace wants to discover who Idaho murder suspect Bryan Kohberger really is in her new… FOX Nation special: “Brian Kohberger: I’m blank.”
Nancy Grace reflected on Kohberger’s high school years in the “Nancy Grace Investigates” Exclusive, which features guests from the Idaho quadruple murder suspect’s past sitting on camera for the first time.

Kohberger’s former boyfriend, Jack Baylis, told FOX Nation that the two often talked about women and felt “frustrated” with the dating scene. Baylis said women would “ghost” them, an online phenomenon where users are ignored without explanation.
Clinical, police and forensic psychologist Dr. Kris Mohandie weighs in, explaining that “frustration” is a common feeling for “incels,” or involuntarily celibate, often online young men.
Three of the four victims Kohberger allegedly killed were women. They were all University of Idaho students, stabbed to death in November 2022. Kohberger was arrested on four counts of first-degree murder and one count of burglary while studying for a doctorate. in criminology.

Kohberger’s trial has been suspended after his lawyers waived his right to a speedy trial. They said they needed more time to create a defense.

The FOX Nation special also shows Kohberger allegedly messaging his friend that he has been “depressed” for so long that he has “developed a strange sense of meaning.”
The friend also offered that Kohberger would become “aggressive” when he was drunk, and that his friends would have to hide his car keys. Additionally, Baylis suggested Kohberger be on “other sketchy drugs.”
Kohberger reportedly kicked a heroin habit before earning his criminal justice degree. In 2014, he was also indicted for trying to sell his sister’s iPhone at the age of 19, allegedly while abusing heroin.
Despite the revelations, Nancy Grace told America’s Newsroom on Tuesday that any alleged alcohol or drug use will likely not be used as a defense in his trial.
The father of one victim, Steve Goncalves, told FOX News Digital last week that Kohberger is receiving special treatment in prison.
He said, “I have learned that his trial privileges, such as his five trials, special video and computer treatment, and vegan meals, are unprecedented in Idaho history.”
The sheriff did not respond to a request for comment.
Goncalves’ daughter, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, was found dead along with her lifelong best friend and roommate Madison Mogen, also 21, in the latter’s bedroom on the third floor of their rental home on King Road, just steps from the college campus. On the second floor, police found their roommate, Xana Kernodle, and her boyfriend, Ethan Chapin, both 20 years old. According to the coroner, all four had been stabbed to death.
Kohberger has been held without bail at the Latah County Jail in Moscow, Idaho, since January.
