It has never happened before that Norway has been allowed to organize the Alpine Skiing World Cup weekend for both sexes two years in a row. It was already known that Kvitfjell will be on the calendar twice next season, and at the autumn meeting of the FIS in Zurich it was hammered home that the same will happen in the 2024/25 season.
– With Norway’s fantastic sporting success in recent years, and with future international calendars opening up to a greater extent to new organisers, it is our turn to host Women’s and Men’s World Cup competitions in the same season, says Ski President Tove Moe Dyrhaug.
