A Tennessee man was arrested after he repeatedly stabbed his daughter throughout an argument exterior a house in Nashville.
Floyd Allen Seay, 81, was charged with tried prison murder after the incident occurred Monday afternoon exterior a house in South Nashville within the 3000 block of Louise Drive.
Metro Nashville Police responded at about 1:30 p.m. on Monday to a report of a home disturbance and located the sufferer with stab wounds to her chest, decrease neck and cheek, WZTV reported. Officers detained Seay till investigators arrived on the scene. Investigators spoke to a number of witnesses who offered video of the incident allegedly exhibiting Seay and his daughter in a verbal argument that escalated to a bodily altercation.

Seay instructed investigators that he had deliberately grabbed the knife, however didn’t know why he grabbed it. He claimed the battle escalated due to “all the things that had been increase” and that he would do it once more if given the chance.
He was taken into custody and booked into Metro Jail on a $500,000 bond.
