CAIRO, Jan 15 (MENA) – The dollar rate was stable at the start of Monday’s transactions at Egypt’s major banks.
At the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr, the dollar rate registered LE30.75 for purchase and LE30.85 for sale.
At the Commercial International Bank (CIB), the dollar rate was LE 30.85 for purchase and 30.95 for sale.
According to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), the average dollar rate in the Egyptian market was LE30.82 for buying and LE30.95 for selling.
The price in euros registered LE33.64 for purchase and LE33.83 for sale at Banque Misr and the NBE.
The price in euros at the CIB was LE 33.75 for purchase and LE 33.95 for sale.
According to the CBE, the average euro rate in the Egyptian market registered LE33.75 for purchase and LE33.90 for sale.
The pound sterling at the NBE and Banque Misr registered LE39.14 for buying and LE39.38 for selling.
At the CIB, the exchange rate of the British pound was LE39.26 for purchase and LE39.50 for sale.
According to the CBE, the average rate of the British pound in the Egyptian market registered LE39.30 for purchase and LE39.49 for sale.
The price of the Saudi riyal was LE8.19 for purchase and LE8.22 for sale at the NBE. (MENA)
