Rep. Andy Ogles, R-Tenn., introduced on social media Tuesday that his telephone was seized by the FBI final week – simply at some point after he gained a Republican major within the Volunteer State.
Ogles, a member of the Home Freedom Caucus, shared a press release on X concerning the investigation, which reportedly entails marketing campaign finance filings. Sources confirmed to Fox Information that FBI brokers executed a search warrant at his D.C. workplace final week.
“It has been extensively reported for months that my marketing campaign made errors in our preliminary monetary filings,” the Tennessee politician stated in his put up. “Now we have labored diligently with attorneys and reporting specialists to right the errors and guarantee compliance going ahead.”

Ogles added that he believes the telephone seizure is said to the marketing campaign filings, and vowed to cooperate with authorities.
“It’s my understanding that they’re investigating the identical well-known info surrounding these filings,” the Republican added. “I’ll after all absolutely cooperate with them, simply as I’ve with the Federal Election Fee.”

Final Thursday, Ogles gained a high-profile major battle towards Nashville Metro Council member Courtney Johnston. His supporters included former President Trump and Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La.
