A household’s Labor Day picnic in Southern California changed into a terrifying ordeal when a mountain lion attacked a 5-year-old boy and tried to tug him into the woods. The mountain lion’s members of the family determined to rescue him from the wild animal’s jaws, authorities mentioned.
The brutal assault occurred at 4:21 p.m. native time on Sunday in Malibu Creek State Park, about 30 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles. The kid suffered “critical however non-life-threatening accidents,” based on an announcement from the California Division of Fish and Wildlife.
