Algeria’s incumbent President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has been re-elected with 94.7 % of the vote, Algeria’s electoral authority ANIE reported.
“Of the 5,630,000 registered voters, 5,320,000 voted for unbiased candidate Abdelmadjid Tebboune, accounting for 94.65 %” of Saturday’s vote, ANIE head Mohamed Charfi advised reporters within the capital Algiers.
