The Division of Justice (DOJ) is accusing LA Health of discriminating towards disabled individuals in a lawsuit that was introduced on Tuesday.

In a press launch revealed by the DOJ, the company defined that it was suing Health Worldwide LLC – the corporate that owns LA Health – for “discriminating towards individuals with disabilities at its health club and health golf equipment.”  

The DOJ is asking the Central District of California to “cease LA Health from discriminating towards individuals with disabilities, together with by requiring LA Health to make its services and tools accessible.”

“The ADA requires LA Health to provide individuals with disabilities equal entry to LA Health’s providers and services, take away architectural boundaries to make its services accessible to individuals with disabilities and preserve accessible options,” the DOJ argued.
