Yazd – IRNA – The sixth provincial saffron competition (crimson gold) was held in Asfich district of Bahabad metropolis with the presence of various farmers and native officers earlier than the start of the Fatimid period. This metropolis is the biggest producer of saffron in Yazd province with 350 hectares of cultivated space.
