President-elect Donald Trump has named longtime ally Kashyap “Kash” Patel to function the following director of the FBI within the new administration.
Patel, 44, is an lawyer with expertise in nationwide safety, intelligence and counterterrorism. He has been a member of Trump’s transition staff, advising the administration on different appointments.
Trump introduced Patel’s appointment in a Reality Social submit on Saturday.
