Members of the 377th Safety Forces Squadron responded to an incident on the Albuquerque base’s Truman Gate round 2 a.m. Saturday.
The airman was discovered useless on the scene, the Air Drive stated.
The second wounded airman was shot within the hand and has been launched from the hospital, the Air Drive stated within the launch.

In an replace, the Air Drive stated an incident led to an off-base pursuit that resulted within the capturing.
The Air Drive Workplace of Particular Investigations is investigating the capturing together with the FBI and Albuquerque Police Division.
The Air Drive added that there isn’t a menace to the general public.

The army didn’t reveal the id of the shooter or say if anybody is in custody.
Albuquerque police aren’t trying to find any extra suspects, police spokesperson Gilbert Gallegos instructed the Related Press.
