DES MOINES, Iowa — Two Iowa law enforcement officials had been hospitalized and a suspect died in a taking pictures Monday morning, Des Moines police mentioned.
The confrontation started round 1:40 a.m. when patrol officers tried to drag over a car and the motive force refused to cease. A chase ensued earlier than the fleeing car crashed a short while later, police mentioned.
When officers approached the motive force to arrest him, he pulled out a gun and commenced taking pictures at them, police Sgt. Paul Parizek mentioned. A number of officers returned hearth, hitting the person.
Two officers had been shot and brought to the hospital. Parizek mentioned each are anticipated to outlive. The person who was shot has died, Parizek mentioned.
The Des Moines Police Division and the Iowa Division of Public Security are investigating the case.
