A Paraguayan man was stabbed to death during a neighborhood fight in the Buenos Aires town of Don Bosco, Quilmes district. For the crime they arrested a suspect, who has a criminal record for robbery, police sources reported this Friday.

The tragic episode occurred last Wednesday at 1000 Ituzaingó Street, in the vicinity of Villa Itatí. The fatal victim was identified by the police as Jorge Montalto, 64, who worked as an employee of the C subway line.

Police spokesmen indicated that Montalto was attacked by a neighbor with a knife. After being wounded, he was rushed to the Santa Clara de Quilmes clinic, where he was admitted with cuts to his neck and other parts of his body.

Despite medical efforts, he died around 5:30 p.m. that Wednesday while undergoing surgery, due to the seriousness of the stab wounds he suffered.

The prosecutor Martín Conde intervened in the case, in charge of the Functional Instruction Unit (UFI) 3 of the Judicial Department of Quilmes, who entrusted the investigation to the Departmental Investigation Delegation (DDI) of that jurisdiction.

In this context, the detectives, together with the Operational Tactical Group (GTO) of the 2nd police station. de Bernal, released a video from a security camera through which they were able to identify the murderer, who lived a few meters from the crime scene.

The modality was one of those known as “piranha” and the group of thieves pounced on the judge’s Renault Captur to “open the doors”, according to the version of the victims of the assault: Ernesto García Maañón (74), a chambermaid from San Isidro , and its custodian, a Buenos Aires police officer, Captain Leonardo Nasif.

Always according to the complaint, the armed thieves tried to get them out of the car.
