MONTGOMERY, Ala. — The execution date for a person convicted within the 1998 deadly capturing of an ATM supply employee has been set for July 18, Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey introduced Thursday.
Keith Edmund Gavin, 64, can be put to dying by deadly injection, the state’s fundamental technique of execution.

Gavin was convicted of homicide for the capturing dying of William Clinton Clayton, Jr. in Cherokee County in northeastern Alabama.
