Almost three months have passed since Emmily Rodrigues Santos Gomes (26) fell from the sixth floor of the Retiro apartment. The agricultural businessman, Francisco Sáenz Valiente (52), spent a week in detention and was later released for lack of merit.
The lawyers representing the family of the young Brazilian seek to open her cell phone with the Universal Forensic Extraction Device (UFED) from the Cellebrite company, the same one they used to open Natacha Jaitt’s iPad.

The UFED is a new technology incorporated by the National Gendarmerie that allows opening cell phones. Emmily had an iPhone 14 and they have not been able to access the information on his phone after his death. That is why it is not clear if Sáenz Valiente and she had spoken before or if they met that morning as the businessman declared.

They are also looking for possible requests for help or deleted messages that make it possible to clarify the moments before death and determine if he was the victim of a femicide or if, as the businessman says, he threw himself into the void after consuming too many drugs.

In parallel, while the investigation progresses, prosecutors Santiago Vismara, from the Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office No. 10, and Mariela Labozzetta, from the Specialized Prosecutor Unit for Violence against Women (UFEM), await the result of “key” expert ” to continue the investigation.

According to the hypothesis of the family of the deceased young woman, Emmily went to that apartment invited by Juliana Mourao, they provided her with drugs and alcohol, and when Dafne Santana (also invited by Juliana) and Lía Alves (invited by Sáenz Valiente in exchange for 10,000 pesos) left the place, the young woman was forced to perform some sexual practice and, when she refused, she began to ask for help through the windows until they finally threw her into the void.

The fact
On the night of Wednesday, March 29, Emmily went to dinner at the Gardiner restaurant on the Costanera Norte with the Brazilian doctor Juliana Magalhaes Mourao and Dafne Santana. From there she went to the Isabel bar, in Palermo, and finally at dawn on Thursday the 30th she went to the apartment of Sáenz Valiente in Retiro.
After a night of excesses, the woman would have suffered a nervous breakdown (according to the version of the businessman and the woman who accompanied him) and at 9.18 he ended up falling naked out of the window.
“She is like possessed,” the businessman had indicated in two calls to 911 that he made prior to the death of the young woman while desperate screams were heard in the background.
