One of many victims killed in Tuesday’s Siam Paragon taking pictures was hiding in a ladies’s restroom when it occurred, her niece stated.

The niece, recognized on Chinese language microblogging platform Weibo as 16-year-old Chloe Wan, stated late Tuesday that she and a few of her kinfolk had been in the bathroom when the taking pictures occurred.

Once they noticed the gunman at the bathroom entrance, they ducked into the stalls, she stated. However her aunt and two different unidentified ladies had collapsed within the second-floor bathroom after failing to enter the shelter of a stall.

The Chinese language embassy in Thailand stated on Tuesday night that one Chinese language nationwide was killed and one other injured within the incident.

Thai police arrested the suspected perpetrator of the incident, a 14-year-old boy who was a pupil at a personal faculty close to Siam Paragon.

He reportedly obtained psychiatric therapy and surrendered after operating out of bullets.
