The leadership of the Democratic Party, called by the chairman Enkelejd Alibeaj, has chosen a candidate for the Municipality of Tirana, Roland Bejko.
Bejko will compete in the local elections on May 14 with the PD logo, in front of the SP candidate Erion Veliaj and Belind Këlliç, candidate of the “Together We Win” coalition.
He held the position of political leader of the district after the dismissal of Tritan Shehu and was also second on the list in the parliamentary elections of 2021, but failed to win.

Did not participate in the voting: Gazment Bardhi, Dhurata Cupi, Jorida Tabaku, Ori Nebiaj, Jonila Godole.
Voted for Bejko: Fitim Zekthi, Taulanda Jupi, Kreshnik Collaku, Orjola Pampuri, Xhemal Gjunkshi, Flamur Hoxha, Gazment Koduzi, Enkelejd Alibeaj, Taulant Zeneli, Agron Kapllanaj.
Abstention from voting: Indrit Sefa, Endri Hasa, Juela Hamati.
