In a press conference, Sali Berisha called on all immigrants to come to Albania to vote on May 14.
According to him, their arrival and vote in these elections is very important in the pluralism of Albanian society.
“Normally, every immigrant, wherever he is, should vote where he is on May 14. Today, technology makes it possible to vote in real time wherever the Albanian is. But the only obstacle to this is Edi Rama, who does not accept and will not accept that immigration vote in these elections.
But these are the elections of our lives, in the sense that we are invited after 32 years to the ballot boxes to restore pluralism and overthrow monism. In this context, in this battle, the commitment of immigration, either by clarifying the vital role that pluralism has for the Albanian society, or by taking the savings they have to come to vote, is of great importance.
On this occasion, I invite all immigrants to be in Albania on May 14 and to vote for pluralism. Likewise, I invite those who do not have the opportunity to do everything with phone calls, not only to their family members, but also to their closest relatives, to remind them why they are not in Albania. Invite them to vote for the candidates of the primaries, to vote for change”, said Berisha.
The Democratic Party of Sali Berisha participates in the elections as part of a coalition with the Freedom Party of Ilir Meta, the Christian Democratic Party of Nard Noka and the PBDNJ of Vangjel Dules. The logo and motto of the coalition is “Together We Win”.
