Biden-Trump rematch? Americans respond
Americans in Tennessee and Maryland predicted who would win in another showdown for the Oval Office between Donald Trump and Joe Biden in the 2024 election.
Americans in Nashville and Baltimore told Fox News who they believed would win in a 2024 re-election between President Biden and former President Trump.
“To be honest, even though he’s had all the trouble, I think Trump will still win,” Carol said in Nashville.
But Anikee, a Baltimore resident, disagreed.
“Biden will win,” she said. “Nobody likes Trump except the Republicans.”

Biden announced his candidacy for a second presidential term on Tuesday, bringing the country one step closer to a rematch between Biden and Trump. Trump, Biden’s predecessor in the White House, launched his own campaign in November.
While the incumbent is almost certain that he will be the Democrats’ nominee, Trump will have to beat a slew of Republicans in the primary to get the nomination.
“If Trump runs again for the Republican nomination, I think Biden will probably win,” said Barbara of Nashville. “I hate to think that of this very beautiful, beautiful country, those are our two best choices.”

Sharon said, “I would tune into the debates, and that’s because it would be a comedy show with Trump on it.”
An NBC News poll found that none of the White House hopefuls were popular, with 60% of American adults saying Trump should not run for president, while 70% said the same of Biden.

“It’s just a sad state of affairs for our country,” Dave told Fox News in Nashville. “I will only vote for Trump because I don’t want Biden.”

Some Americans said they don’t want to see a rematch between Trump and Biden.
“I don’t think Trump will win, but I don’t want Biden to necessarily win either,” Colton told Fox News in Nashville. “I just don’t want this face-off to happen in general.”
“The disgusting thing is the division that both people have brought, mainly Trump,” he said.
