President Biden is granting clemency to 11 drug sellers convicted of non-violent crimes, in addition to rolling again anti-drug legal guidelines on federal land.

“Second, following my pardon of prior federal and D.C. offenses of easy possession of marijuana, I’m issuing a Proclamation that can pardon extra offenses of easy possession and use of marijuana beneath federal and D.C. regulation,” the president stated.
Biden stated the regulation enforcement reforms are supposed to curb and rethink the nation’s “failed method to marijuana.”

Biden stated, “Felony information for marijuana use and possession have imposed pointless limitations to employment, housing, and academic alternatives. Too many lives have been upended due to our failed method to marijuana. It’s time that we proper these wrongs.”
