President Biden denied lying Monday about his son, Hunter Biden’s business deal talks.

Fox News White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich asked the president, “Did you lie that you never talked to Hunter about his business deals?”

“No,” Biden answered bluntly. Heinrich continued by asking, “Have you ever talked to Hunter about his business deals?”

It was unclear whether the president responded when another reporter shouted a question at the commander-in-chief.

The exchange came after Biden made remarks at the White House that kicked off the next phase of the government’s Investing in America tour with a major announcement of high-speed internet infrastructure. Already leaving the podium, the president stopped to answer Henry’s question before walking down the hall.

This comes after the White House heated up over the weekend after Hunter Biden accompanied his father to Camp David amid allegations of political corruption by whistleblowers — along with the president’s son who recently pleaded guilty to federal tax charges and agreed to a plea to a gun charge.

The House Ways and Means Committee on Thursday revealed its interview with an IRS whistleblower last month who shared a 2017 WhatsApp message in which Hunter Biden reportedly told a Chinese business associate that he and his father would make sure “you’ll regret it.” not follow my instructions.”

“I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment has not been fulfilled,” Hunter Biden told Henry Zhao, the director of Chinese asset management firm Harvest Fund Management, in the message from IRS whistleblower Gary. Shapley. “And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang or the chairman, I will make sure that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to always a grudge that you will regret not following my directions.”

The White House event Monday announced funding for each state, territory and the District of Columbia to deploy high-speed Internet infrastructure through the Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) program — a $42.45 billion grant program created in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and administered by the Department of Commerce. The administration said prizes range from $27 million to more than $3.3 billion, with each state receiving a minimum of $107 million.

It was touted by the White House as the “biggest internet funding announcement in history”. President Biden, Vice President Harris, First Lady Jill Biden, cabinet members and senior government officials will fan out across the country for the next three weeks to showcase Biden’s economic agenda.

During the press conference, Biden also acknowledged for the first time the attempted insurrection of the Wagner Group against the regime of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“We didn’t give Putin an excuse to blame the West, to blame NATO. We made it clear that we were not involved. We had nothing to do with it,” Biden told reporters.
