Ninety-six p.c of union members vote to strike at factories in Seattle and Portland.

Boeing’s roughly 33,000 West Coast manufacturing unit employees have voted overwhelmingly to strike, in one more setback for the embattled airline large.

Machine operators on the firm’s factories in Seattle and Portland, Oregon, voted to stroll out of labor efficient midnight on Thursday after rejecting a proposal of a 25 p.c wage enhance over 4 years.
