On Saturday, May 6, King Charles III and his wife Camilla will be crowned as Queen.
On this day marked for the British, the armed forces are preparing to escort the monarch during the ceremony.
More than 7,000 soldiers, mainly from the navy, infantry, but also aviators who will honor their new commander, will take part in the grand display.
According to the agenda, the coronation day will begin with a journey from Buckingham Palace in central London to Westminster Abbey. The couple will travel in a carriage drawn by six horses while being escorted by the royal cavalry.
The ceremony will begin at 11am, with Charles to be crowned at 12pm by the most senior cleric in the Church of England, Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby.
About 2,000 people, including foreign leaders and members of the royal family as well as various officials, will attend the coronation ceremony, which has remained the same for more than 1,000 years.
