Britain’s Sunak says London stands ‘unequivocally’ behind Israel

LIVERPOOL, England — British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak instructed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday that Britain stood “unequivocally” with Israel after Hamas assaults and that London was working to make sure the world spoke with one voice.

“(Sunak) reaffirmed that Britain will unequivocally help Israel in opposition to these acts of terror. The Prime Minister provided Prime Minister Netanyahu all of the help Israel wants,” Sunak’s Downing Road workplace mentioned in an announcement after a telephone name between the 2 leaders.

“The Prime Minister outlined the diplomatic work Britain is doing to make sure the world speaks with one voice in opposing these abhorrent assaults. Prime Minister Netanyahu thanked the Prime Minister for Britain’s help.” REUTERS
