Argentina has been engulfed by massive fires that have burned thousands of hectares of forest.
The most affected area is the province of Corrientes, where the flames started two days ago and have continued to advance more.
Local authorities have reported that this is the biggest fire of this season. About 150 firefighters, the army, two planes and a helicopter are working in the area to put out the flames, but the drought has made the situation difficult.
Although they are on alert, the situation has gotten out of control, as 3,000 hectares of land have been completely burned, while the wind is blowing at 30 kilometers per hour.
So far, 17 fire sources have been registered, of which 6 remain active and 11 under verification.
The flames have spread up to seven and a half kilometers, reaching several properties, where there are farms.
The Red Cross and the Ministry of Health are in the area to help those affected by the fire and smoke.
The National Weather Service predicts a high probability of thunderstorms, while maximum temperatures will continue up to 30 degrees.
