Five people have fallen into the handcuffs of the Greek police after they were caught buying votes in the village of Sovadhes of Kardhice in mainland Greece.
According to police sources, the five arrested are Roma. The police clarified that they were caught red-handed with 197 identity cards, 114 envelopes with the ballot paper for a certain candidate.
The sum of 6060 euros was found in their bag. The arrested will be sent to the Kardhica court for security measures.
