Cal Hearth worker arrested in reference to off-duty arson

A California firefighter is accused of neglecting his duties and setting a number of fires in latest weeks.

CAL FIRE law enforcement officials arrested Robert Hernandez, 38, a CAL FIRE hearth technician, on the Howard Forest hearth station on Friday, accusing him of setting 5 fires whereas off responsibility.

In accordance with CAL FIRE, the fires raged in an space totaling lower than one hectare.

Details about Hernandez’s lawyer was not instantly accessible. He was being held within the Sonoma County Jail on a cost of arson in a forested space, investigators stated.
