NBC’s Chicago Med has two new medical doctors becoming a member of the fold in Season 10: Sarah Ramos (Parenthood, The Bear) Darren Barnet (By no means Have I Ever, Highway Home). The brand new season begins Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 8 pm on NBC and the following day on Peacock.
Ramos will play Dr. Caitlin Lenox and Barnet will play Dr. John Frost in sequence common roles. Sources divulge to Deadline, Lenox is an ED Attending poised to get Gaffney Medical into form. Frost is a pediatric resident who’s harboring a secret.
Season 10 will even welcome two new showrunners, Mike Weiss and Allen MacDonald, following the departures of veterans Diane Frolov and Andy Schneider.
Chicago Med follows the emotional day-to-day chaos of the town’s latest state-of-the-art trauma middle and the lives of the medical doctors, nurses and workers who maintain all of it collectively.
The addition of Ramos and Barnet to the solid follows the latest announcement that Dominic Rains was exiting the sequence. It is as but unknown if he’ll resume the position of ER surgeon Dr. Crockett Marcel in Season 10 to wrap up his story.
As Deadline revealed completely final month, S. Epatha Merkerson, Oliver Platt and Marlyne Barrett all closed new offers to stay on the hit medical drama sequence. Emmy winner Merkerson performs Sharon Goodwin, the chief administrator of Gaffney Chicago Medical Heart. Platt performs Dr. Daniel Charles, chief of the psychiatry division. Barrett performs Maggie Lockwood, cost nurse of the emergency division.
Jessy Schram, Steven Weber and Luke Mitchell additionally star.
The sequence is government produced by Dick Wolf, Allen MacDonald, Stephen Hootstein and Peter Jankowski. Chicago Med is produced by Common Tv, a division of Common Studio Group, in affiliation with Wolf Leisure.
