Republican presidential nominee and former New Jersey governor Chris Christie on Wednesday attacked former President Donald Trump, calling him “youth” and a “baby” after the latter attacked him with fat jokes.
“Look, he’s a youngster. He’s a baby. Only kids talk like that. He never said that about me when he offered me the White House Chief of Staff,” Christie told Fox News’ Bret Baier during an appearance on ” SpecialReport”.
“He never said that about me when he offered me Secretary of Homeland Security, twice. He never said that about me when he offered me Secretary of Labor. I wasn’t one of those things then,” he said.

“Look, as soon as you speak out to him, Bret, you know what he’s doing? He lashes out like a kid. And if you or I were raising that kid, we’d send them to their room, not the White.” home,” he added.
Following the official launch of Christie’s second presidential campaign Tuesday, Trump posted multiple social media posts that appeared to mock the weight of the former governor.
“How many times has Chris Christie used the word SMALL? Does he have a psychological problem with SIZE?” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“Actually, his speech was SMALL and not very good. It rambled in all directions and no one had a clue what he was talking about. Hard to watch, boring, but that’s what you get from a failed governor (New Jersey) who left office with a 7% approval rating and then left New Hampshire. It won’t be any different this time!” he added.
Trump later posted an edited video of Christie’s announcement speech with what appeared to be a buffet of food in front of him. The manipulated video also made Christie look like he was holding a plate full of food.
