the state Permanent Commission of Contingencies (Copeco) announced how the weather conditions will be this Sunday, May 7, 2023 in the various regions of Honduras.

Will Ochoa, forecaster at the Center for Atmospheric, Oceanographic, and Seismological Studies (dineattached to Copeco), explained that dry weather will continue to prevail in most areas of the country.

“The dry and hot conditions over most of the country the wind”, reported the Cenaos meteorologist, while not ruling out the possibility of rain in a region of Honduran territory.

“Wind, coming from the east, transports humidity from the Caribbean Sea and generates light and isolated rains and showers in the northern region”, the expert from the contingency entity expanded.

On the other hand, the maximum temperatures during that day will be 32 degrees Celsius in Atlántida (coastal), 41 degrees in Choluteca (south), 33 degrees in Colón (northeast), 36 degrees in Comayagua (center) and 33 degrees in Copán ( West).

Finally, the thermometer will mark 36 degrees Celsius in the department of Cortés (north), 32 degrees in Francisco Morazán (central-south) and 31 degrees in Islas de la Bahía, an insular area of ​​Honduras.
