Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened, the suit says, when McGuinness momentarily became airborne near the end of the slide and landed so hard in the pool that she had to be hospitalized for serious injuries.
She suffered permanent injuries, the lawsuit says, including damage to her internal organs, and suffered “scarring, mental anguish, loss of enjoyment of life, expensive hospitalization and medical care, and loss of income.” whose injuries are permanent or persistent in nature.”
The couple, who are seeking at least $50,000 in damages, claim the slide is “unsafe and unreasonably dangerous” and that Disney was negligent for not advising passengers of the potential risks or the need to wear clothing that would prevent wedgies. .
