A man from Washington, D.C., allegedly assaulted a victim with a key after a verbal altercation on Friday, according to police.

The incident happened at around 3:56 p.m. Friday at the 2600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, police said in a press release.

The suspect approached the victim and assaulted the victim with a wrench after an altercation. The suspect then fled.

Police are still looking for the suspect and are asking the public for help. The suspect can be seen on surveillance footage obtained by the police.

Anyone with information about the incident or the suspect’s identity is asked to contact police. Officials ask people not to take action themselves if they find the suspect.
