New York Rep. Ritchie Torres, a Democrat, mentioned he mistakenly voted towards a decision condemning Hamas supporters on faculty campuses amid the battle between Israeli forces and Hamas terrorists.

Home lawmakers permitted a decision Thursday condemning faculty college students’ assist of Hamas, Hezbollah and different terrorist teams by a 396 to 23 vote.

“As a visual and vocal advocate towards antisemitism on faculty campuses, particularly within the wake of October seventh, I’ve submitted a correction for the report,” Torres wrote Thursday on X, the platform previously referred to as Twitter.

“I’ve no use for pro-Hamas protestors, and I despise them with each fiber of my being,” he continued.
