Discount time is over and the day has come when open television celebrates itself: this Sunday, July 9, starting at 9:00 p.m., it will be known who were the best on TV last year, according to the crystal with which the Association of Television and Radio Journalists of Argentina watches. And who will take the Martín Fierro de Oro.
The delivery ceremony, before about 600 guests, will be held at the Hilton Hotel, starting at 9:00 p.m., with the leadership of Santiago del Moro. And live television by Telefe, a channel that will also bring the preview to its screen, with two segments (one from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and the other, the Red Carpet one, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.).
Thus, the “Martín Fierro marathon” will start at 4:30 p.m. with the preview of the red carpet, by Pía Shaw and Noe Antonelli. And, at 7 pm, the host of the “carpet” will be Iván de Pineda, who will be accompanied by an eclectic team that goes from the chef Damián Betular to the journalist Agustina Casanova.
In keeping with current times, the channel prepared complementary programming via streaming, through Telefe’s Twitch and YouTube channels. The preview will be in charge of the boys from Fuera de joda, four former Big Brother: Julieta, Daniela, Nacho and La Tora. During the Red Carpet, the streaming will be led by Diego Poggi and Priscila Crivocapich.

The numbers and flavors of the night
Of the 36 shortlists at stake, Telefe leads the list of nominations with 44 chances, followed by El Trece with 24, TV Pública and América with 15 and closes Elnueve with 14. Neither Net TV nor Bravo managed to get even one nomination.
And among the candidates to win the golden statuette are Big Brother, Santiago del Moro (who was also the host of that reality show, along with Masterchef Celebrity), The First of Us and Telefe news. All names from that house.
As for what will be served at the 50 round tables in the Hilton’s main room, the menu includes a snack, an appetizer, a main course, a dessert and several petit fours.
Snack: It’s called The Forest. It is a crispy carob and goat cheese, candied mushrooms, black truffle, lio beetroot, herbs and summer flowers. Entry: Artisan burratina, creamy pesto, tomato tartare and fruit with infused EVOO. Main: Braised beef, humita compact, corn textures, creamy carrot with white chocolate and caramelized chives. Dessert: Creamy cheese and white chocolate, mango compote and passion fruit whipped cream, chocolate tile with raspberry and pistachios.
There will be vegetarian options for diners who require it.
What else will happen on the big night of TV?
Santiago del Moro will be the host and will be nominated for “MasterChef” and for “Big Brother”.
Although the main leadership will be in charge of Del Moro, several figures of the channel will occupy different roles, such as Susana Giménez, who will star in an “opening” scene, of which the production does not yet want to air details.
Here are some characters with their respective tasks in the preview of the ceremony:
Damián Betular: the most charismatic jury of MasterChef will be the one who tells the privacy of the nominees who are staying at the Hilton, preparing for the party. True to his style, he’ll bring backstage humor from the bedrooms, during the red carpet broadcast. In the same task, but with different styles, will be Vicky Xipolitakis and Roberto Funes Ugarte.
Damián Betular will tour the rooms of the Hilton to see how the nominees are being prepared. Natalia Oreiro: the Uruguayan actress and singer was chosen to sing, live, the theme that will sound during the segment called “Obituary”, in which APTRA members usually remember television figures who have died in the last anus. Oreiro will do a reversal of one of Gilda’s hits, “It’s not my farewell.” Iván de Pineda: the host of Pasapalabra will be in charge of animating the red carpet, accompanied by Sofía Martínez, the journalist who managed to move Lionel Messi in a post-match game in Qatar. Agustina Casanova will also be in that segment.
What will happen to Jey Mammon?
Jey Mammón returned to TV, as a guest, with an attitude opposite to what he showed in his victimization videos.
Since Telefe decided to remove him from the leadership of La peña de Morfi due to the accusations against him of sexual abuse, several wondered what would happen if the program was ever nominated. Well, he was on the shortlist for best Musical and, this Wednesday, in a controversial interview he gave to Intruders, Jey Mammón announced that he will go to the party.
This confirmation widened the angle of coverage of various media and added spice to the expectation of the gala, since his presence undoubtedly becomes a focus of attention. And what about tension? some read it as a provocation on his part, others as a contradiction of Telefe, others as an unquestionable decision of his.
Once he arrives at the Hilton, he will see who came out ahead with his presence in the middle of a case – the complainant is Lucas Benvenuto, his ex-partner – that shocked TV in particular and society in general. And he keeps shocking.
