Joe Lieberman, the previous Connecticut senator and Democratic vice presidential nominee in 2000, has died. He was 82.
His household stated in an announcement that he died on account of issues from a fall.
“Senator Lieberman’s love of God, his household and America endured all through his lifetime of service within the public curiosity,” his household stated.
On the time of his demise, Lieberman was main an effort to recruit a candidate for the group No Labels, which has been in search of a “unity” ticket to run independently of the Democratic and Republican events.
