Deputy Agron Gjekmarkaj sees with great concern the situation in the Democratic Party, while emphasizing that a weak opposition does not serve the country.
For “Top Story”, Gjekmarkaj called on Berisha that if he feels sorry for his political creature, he should sacrifice himself by leaving and leave him free so that PD can unite under a new leadership.

Duma: Why is the situation dragging on at this level? There are chances that Berisha will come out today and say that Alibeaj and Basha are to blame for the loss.
Gjekmarkaj: Berisha will say it, but it is not convincing.
Duma: What about the reports on which the PD hangs its hopes with the American embassy, the internationals…
Gjekmarkaj: In every contact we have had with the ambassador or American representatives, we have understood that they were interested in a strong opposition. A united Democratic Party.
In recent months, as far as I have noticed, their silence, because even silence is a language today, during the campaign it was not noticed that they no longer dealt with Berisha. They have no plans to change anything from their position. They are a small country, move slowly and have no plans to change their attitude towards Berisha.
