GoTv channels will be renumbered from Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
This will be done to improve the customer experience, according to Rinaldi Jamugisha, the Public Relations Manager at GOtv.

To continue to deliver high-quality entertainment, Jamugisha said they can count on the channel numbering that will make it easier for their customers to enjoy a world of pure excitement with favorite telenovelas, drama series, movies, documentaries and more.
Jamugisha said they have added more content to the GOtv platform over the years and the channel roster has grown and evolved over the years.
“We have reached a point where some blocks are full and some channels are hiding in hard to find places. We have also found that some of our language-specific channels, such as GOtv’s Portuguese channels, are now mixed with English-language channels, making it difficult for our valued Portuguese customers to find what they are looking for,” he added.
