A forty five-year-old man who was mountain climbing alone in Alberta, Canada, was attacked by a bear late Friday morning, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) confirmed to Fox Information Digital on Saturday.
The unnamed hiker from Calgary was in a distant a part of Crowsnest Cross close to Window Mountain Lake round 11:19 a.m. when the assault occurred. He was significantly injured, RCMP public data officer Cst. Cory Riggs confirmed to Fox Information Digital.
RCMP at Crowsnest Cross responded after receiving an emergency SOS name from the hiker on the Nice Divide Path following the assault.
