“In the framework of love”, a romantic comedy, is the first film production, which is expected to premiere in October.
Starting from professional actors to the most vocal public figures of the moment, a spectacular realization is being realized. The producer of this film, Ledion Liço, said: The idea to start Top Channel Films is quite organic in the way things came about. Top Media has this tradition of being hungry to excel in various fields of art. Next would have to be the movie. Top Channel has produced movies and serials in the past as well. “In the framework of love” is a return to something that started earlier and remained out of attention for a few years. What I wish is for it to last. It came now because the time is now, the attention of young people to new Albanian cinema and to young Albanian filmmakers is greater. The first film of Top Channel Film, “In the frame of love”, is actually a film of the days we are living. The events dealt with in the film are events of our daily life. However, I must say this, any resemblance of the film to real events is purely coincidental. This is not a true story. We are confident that the film will fill the theaters, but we have our own doubts about how one scene or another will be cut. We have several scripts that we have ready, it will all depend more on the success of the first one. It is a work that has been made with soul by all those who have or have not made films in the past. It has been extraordinary. And I believe that in every work, something of the energy remains. And that’s exactly why I would like the audience to leave the hall with a smile on their face and with very good impressions.
Luiz Ejlli, one of the two protagonists of this film, says: The character in the film is about a very important part of my life that I experienced myself. Maybe that’s why I found myself in that role. I like it because I see myself where I am today and I go back to Bess, who I have the role in the film. The most difficult scene was the kiss scene, I can call it the devil’s kiss. It was a very awkward moment, especially since we rehearsed it 7 times. It is quite difficult to work with Olta, there are many demands for the film. I never thought she would be in a role like my wife. The only moment in the movie that I really like is the moment when we said ‘we’re getting divorced’.
Ndriçim Xhepa, a well-known actor who is part of the cast, said: I have the impression that it is the first time that I am in the position of a father. He is the father of the main character of the girl. He is a special character, who goes through some strange situations, both pleasant and embarrassing. I see the character of Jonida, that is Olta Gixhar, my daughter in the film, in a completely natural way because I know Olta when she was a student at school. So I had no problem in the relationship with him. I didn’t know Sarah before, but as my second daughter, she really gave me those little girl feelings. Generally these small children. The little girl always becomes the most pleasant, sweetest for the father. I had this relationship in the film as well. I will tell the truth, I would like my son, Martini, to have a sister.
Sara Hoxha talks about her role: I come in this film as a young girl named Aria. I am the sister of Jonida, played by Olta Gixhari, and the daughter of Zamira Kita and Ndriçim Xhepa. I thought it was more difficult to play a character who falls in love with someone else in the film. The first kiss was a little difficult. I tried to keep it with as few doubles as possible. When I was younger, I dreamed of becoming an actress. I also searched many times for acting schools in Los Angeles. It never materialized as a thing. In short, a dream has come true for me.
The role of Bes Bitrak in the film? I play Van, a poor boy, a businessman and a potential candidate to marry Aria. It represents this layer of people who think they can win love with money.
On the other hand, we also have Roerd Toçen… Roerd comes in the role of Klejdi. Klejdi is a young designer. I would call him somewhat bohemian, somewhat nostalgic, somewhat melancholic, who has accompanied someone to the airport and is waiting for something that a greater force brings to him. Cooperation with Sara has been a partnership, a very good partnership. We have created a very good society.
