Many couples in today’s age are plagued by infertility problems. Infertility problems can be traced back to a woman’s as men also fall prey to infertility. As couples begin to have doubts about infertility affecting them, it is advisable to seek the advice of a specialist as soon as possible. There are many types associated with infertility treatments and it will be an overwhelming task to decide if a particular treatment is right for a person.

The infertility drugs include those related to Clomid and Progesterone as well as assisted reproductive technologies such as those of IVF. There are also male infertility treatments such as in the case of ICSIS and IUI and non-medical interventions among the other types related to infertility medications. The treatment plan for infertility mainly depends on the causes that pave the way for infertility, and most importantly, the person who is the reason for infertility influences the decision as it can be a problem related to a woman, or that of a man, or the problems can be caused by both.

Usually, couples facing the problem of infertility are treated with treatments that are low-tech, such as in the case of surgery or medication, and there are couples who are treated through assisted reproduction technologies, such as IVF. Since the problem is discovered in women, the most common causes that lead to infertility problems are the ovulation disorders, and the infertility treatment usually used in such cases includes medication, and fertility drugs come under this method of medication and it helps women ovulate in most cases.

The fertility drugs commonly used include Clomid, Femara, and Arimidex, as well as those of Gonadotropins, including FSH, LH, and hCG. Clomid is the most commonly used fertility drug, as it has good successive rates when it comes to the likelihood of women getting it. The Femara and Arimidex are drugs used for inducing ovulation in a woman suffering from ovulation disorders. This type of medication that comes as an infertility treatment also has good success rates. Gonadotropins, including FSH, LH, and hCG, are also sometimes used as an infertility medication.

The surgical infertility treatment is another successful method of overcoming infertility problems. In women, infertility is usually caused by the fallopian tubes or by the problems arising from the lining of the abdomen and pelvis. A test known as HSG is used to diagnose this, and if the blockage related to the tubes is detected, laproscopic surgery is performed to evaluate the situation and correct the problem.

Treatments for infertility take different forms as the right form of medication is not recommended by the specialist until the cause is discovered. In most cases, the infertility problems are solved by drugs as they are also known to bring positive results.
