First woman Jill Biden met with the households of U.S. Olympic athletes on Thursday and spoke of a “united” America, only a day after President Biden addressed the nation following his choice to finish his re-election bid.
Biden, who will lead the U.S. delegation to the Summer season Olympics within the coming weeks, spoke publicly for the primary time since President Biden introduced in a memo that he would droop his re-election marketing campaign and as an alternative endorse Vice President Harris.

Biden, 81, delivered his first public speech since making his announcement on Wednesday.
