A young man who was kidnapped last Friday in the municipality of Ajuterique was found dead and in a state of decomposition on Tuesday afternoon in a ravine near the Slope of the Virgin.
Ruben Sanchez Garcia (20 years old) was kidnapped by unknown people. The relatives spent five days very distressed because they did not know anything about Sánchez García, who was the father of a two-year-old child.
On Tuesday afternoon, a body was found in a ravine at kilometer 93 of the CA-5 highway in the sector of Cuesta de la Virgen in Comayagua. Firefighters They helped rescue the body so they used special equipment, since it had been thrown into the abyss.
The authorities did not identify the victim because they did not find personal documents on him and he was in the process of decomposition.
Identification was carried out by forensic specialists through dental analysis, since it was not possible through fingerprints, since the skin was disintegrated. The relatives arrived yesterday morning to claim the body and took it to Ajuterique where he was buried.
