The Minister of Defense of Kosovo, Armend Mehaj, during his visit to the Republic of Turkey, met his counterpart Hulusi Akar.
Mehaj wrote on Facebook that during this meeting they discussed the excellent cooperation between the two countries, this cooperation which will be deepened even further in the military field of training and technique.
“We are working on signing the SOFA agreement, the personnel exchange agreement and the agreement in the military field of training, technology and science. Minister Akar expressed his thanks and gratitude for the help that the Republic of Kosovo has provided to the Republic of Turkey in the event of the earthquake. The reaction was in a very short time and the KSF troops gave their best to save the survivors. Turkey remains our partner in the development and strengthening of our army. Also, we held a joint meeting with the Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, Oleksandr Kamysh, of Azerbaijan, Zekir Hasanov, as well as the Minister of Defense of Burkina Faso, Aimé Berthelemy Simporé,” he wrote.
