Lady charged with allegedly ‘baiting’ tiger after leaping zoo fence: police

A 24-year-old girl has been charged after allegedly leaping over a fence at a New Jersey zoo and “baiting” a tiger, police mentioned.

Zyair Dennis was charged with one rely of trespassing and was issued two municipal ordinance violations associated to climbing fences on the zoo, Bridgeton police mentioned in an announcement Monday.

In response to police, Dennis allegedly entered a restricted space on the Cohanzick Zoo on August 18.

Witnesses supplied authorities with video footage and pictures displaying a lady leaping over the fence, strolling towards the tiger’s enclosure and “putting her hand within the cage and shortly pulling her hand out when the animal reacts aggressively,” police mentioned.

In response to police, she was almost injured when she ‘lured’ the tiger.
