A British hiker who went lacking within the Pyrenees on Monday has been discovered useless, Spanish authorities mentioned.

The 70-year-old man from London was found after his disappearance sparked a search and rescue operation.

Mountain rescue specialists from Spain’s Civil Guard mentioned he was discovered at 1pm native time on Thursday close to the Aspe peak within the western Pyrenees, within the nation’s northeast.

The Guardia Civil mentioned the hiker was situated by three members of the search and rescue crew who contacted an air unit, which transferred him to a close-by mountain refuge.
