EXCLUSIVE: Emmy-nominated Succession director Lorene Scafaria is again at HBO to direct and government produce the community’s half-hour comedy pilot starring, written and government produced by Rachel Sennott.
Within the untitled mission, a codependent pal group reunites, navigating how the time aside, ambition and new relationships have modified them.
Scafaria directed the Succession episodes “Too A lot Birthday”, “Dwelling+”, and “Honeymoon States,” the primary two of which earned her Emmy nominations within the Excellent Directing for a Drama Collection class.
This marks Scafaria’s return to comedy; she beforehand directed a number of episodes of Fox’s New Lady. Moreover, she wrote and directed the 2019 characteristic Hustlers. Scafaria is repped by UTA and Sloane, Provide, Weber & Dern.
