Officers in California took a person into custody who climbed a Ferris wheel and claimed to have a bomb Monday afternoon.
Police posted on social media that a person climbed on the Ferris wheel on the Santa Monica Pier, including that witnesses heard he had a bomb.
Whereas the Santa Monica Police Division’s Disaster Negotiation Workforce contacted the person, the pier and its amusement park had been evacuated.
The person was later taken into custody round 4:15 p.m. and police mentioned that “no bomb or incendiary system was situated,” based on FOX 11.

In accordance with NBC Los Angeles, officers might be seen tackling the person when he obtained down.

Dozens of people had been caught on the Ferris wheel whereas efforts had been underway to take the person into custody.
