Suffolk County District Lawyer Kevin Hayden stated this was “only the start of a protracted street to justice” for Mbitu and her household.

Prosecutors on Tuesday launched new particulars about Mbitu’s demise, saying Kangethe “brutally attacked” her within the automobile with a knife.
